ConvergeDiverge is a blog by me, Heather M. Whitney. By day I’m an assistant professor of physics at a small liberal arts college. By all other times…well, I’m probably still thinking about professoring. But the title of this blog is intended to express my view on the world: take a topic and it will somehow relate to others. Take many topics and they’ll have something in common. I’ll be writing not only about teaching physics but also my research, my interests in the physics of music, the physics of cooking – you get the picture.
